Bikalpa Foundation

Providing Alternatives and a New Beginning for Those at Life’s Hardest Crossroads

Bikalpa Foundation is a registered charitable organization based in Odisha, India, dedicated to offering real, life-changing alternatives to individuals and families who have reached the most vulnerable, uncertain points in their lives.

Built on deep personal research and lived experiences, Bikalpa recognizes that modern life presents devastating turning points – moments when people fall to the bottom with no safety net. In these moments, hope feels distant, and help is rare. Bikalpa steps in as that help, that assurance – financially and emotionally.

The foundation focuses on three critical life scenarios where individuals are often left invisible and unsupported: men and women in their 20s and 30s and kids. With 43 beneficiaries across these three initiatives, Bikalpa Foundation is more than a charity – it is a lifeline, a second chance, and most importantly, an alternative when life offers none.

Bikalpa She

Supporting young women in their late 20s or early 30s who, after a few years of marriage and with a small child, suddenly lose their husband due to illness or accident. With no income, no social support, and a fragile emotional state, these women are given alternatives – life insurance for their child, seed funding to start something new, or essential sustenance to regain their footing.

Bikalpa He

Offering support to the primary breadwinners – men in their late 30s or early 40s – who suffer life-altering accidents, illnesses, or paralysis, leaving their entire family without income. Bikalpa provides crucial financial aid and guidance for families navigating sudden, long-term crises where government help is grossly inadequate.

Bikalpa Kids

Helping promising children who have lost one or both parents and are left with little to no guidance or resources just as they are entering critical educational years (Class 10 and 12). Through mentorship, career counseling, tuition support, and educational materials, Bikalpa helps them stay on track to a brighter future.
